Dulce D. Elazegui

Ms. Elazegui obtained a Master’s degree in Technology Policy and Innovation Management from Maastricht Economic Research Institute on Innovation and Technology in the Netherlands. She also holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Development Economics from the Australian National University. She attended the Summer Certificate Course on Sustainable Environmental Management at the University of California-Berkeley under the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program. She has A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, major in Agricultural Economics from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Her research interests include policy and governance in agriculture, natural resources, environment, and science and technology. She has been involved in collaborative research and extension work on water and watershed governance, food security, and climate change adaptation with international organizations such as the United States Agency for International Aid; Asia-Pacific Network, International Development Research Council, and Sustainable Mekong Research Network/Stockholm Environment Institute. Ms. Elazegui has co-authored various publications and presented papers in various local and international fora. Ms. Elazegui has also been involved in capacity building activities such as training of local government units and state colleges and universities in local climate change adaptation planning and policy analysis. She has also provided technical assistance to local policy makers in the formulation of policies related to water governance and climate change adaptation.
