SUMERNET Young Professionals (SYP) aims to organize this workshop, in collaboration with GreenGeek, to empower youth and young professional groups and provide them with insights of decarbonization in practice.
The workshop will focus on raising awareness about sustainability and inspiring participants to pursue careers in sustainable development. By addressing the importance of decarbonization, the workshop seeks to foster a sense of responsibility among the youth and encourage them to contribute towards a sustainable future. Meanwhile, the workshop will explore what are the capacity needs of young professionals, how a network like SYP can support them, and what are the members’ expectations and the recommendations for future SYP activities.
