Regional consultation workshop: building water sector youth leadership network in the Lancang-Mekong Region
This first regional consultation workshop will provide the opportunity for the youth leaders from six Mekong-Lancang Countries to build the partnership and exchange knowledge with those who are involved in the existing youth networks/programs working on water issues in the region.

Objectives:
- To present the preliminary findings from the review of existing youth networks/initiatives, which will be useful for future design of water sector youth leadership network in the region.
- To strengthen partnership among the youth leaders from the MLC countries for future cooperation.
- To enhance the understanding on the opportunities and challenges on water resource cooperation by learning from the past MLC transboundary project.
- To enhance relevant capacity of the youth leaders in the areas of MLC Water Resources Cooperation, communications, planning through multi-country teamwork.
Mode of participation:
- Preparatory Meeting and Training on 19th October 2023: Online
- 1st Regional Consultation Workshop during 25- 27 October 2023: Onsite, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
