Dr. Nyda Chhinh is from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with a specific research interest in climate change adaption, payment for environmental services, and cost and benefits analysis related to environmental issues. He also has engaged in climate modeling research projects mainly related to drought early warning, drought management, education, and climate resilience. He has also conducted similar research projects, including his Ph.D. study, focusing on drought monitoring in Cambodia, climate change adaptation, and policy analysis on climate change. Dr. Chhinh’s significant interests are water management and climate change. Currently, he is involved with the development of a Handbook on climate change for Member of Parliament in Cambodia.
