New paper assesses COVID-19 measures on aquaculture farmers’ livelihoods in the Mekong Region

Newest paper from the AQUADAPT-Mekong project titled, "Impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic response on aquaculture farmers in five countries in the Mekong Region" has been published in Aquaculture Economics & Management journal and authored by Dr. Louis Lebel, SUMERNET Steering Committee Co-chair, Ms. Hap Navy, SUMERNET Steering Committee Chair and several SUMERNET network members.  

Public health measures aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19 can have significant, unintended impacts on livelihoods. This paper assesses the impacts of responses to the COVID-19 pandemic on aquaculture farmers in five countries in the Mekong Region.

This paper was published by Unit for Social and Environmental Research (USER), hosted by the Department of Social Science and Development, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand.
