Dang Kieu Nhan

Dr. Dang Kieu Nhan is Director of the Mekong Delta Development Research Institute (MDI) of Can Tho University, Vietnam. He has 30 years of experience in different research fields such as, farming systems, agricultural water management, agri-food systems, rural livelihoods, policy, and institutional analysis. He authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on the aforementioned topics. He holds a BSc. in Crop Sciences at Can Tho University (Vietnam), a MSc. in Water Resources Engineering at Leuven University and Brussels University (Belgium), and a PhD. in Aquaculture Production Systems at Wageningen University (The Netherlands). He participated in SUMERNET projects on water poverty, local institutions for flood management, and farmer-based network in the period of 2006 – 2010.
