Hein Htet Zaw

Hein Htet Zaw is a SUMERNET Young Professionals (SYP) Country Coodinator for Myanmar.

Hein Htet Zaw holds bachelor's degrees in English Literature from East Yangon University and Social Studies from Myanmar Institute of Theology. His professional journey spans roles at the Myanmar Red Cross Society and the Swedish Red Cross, where he played a key role in various projects and programs focused on Water and Sanitation, Community Resilience, Disaster Risk Reduction, Green Logistics, humanitarian response, and development. Currently, he serves as the Myanmar Country Coordinator of SUMERNET Young Professionals (SYP). His passion lies in bridging research institutions and development organizations to foster better engagement, address climate and development challenges, and influence policymakers effectively.
