Lebailly Philippe

Ph. Lebailly is Professor at the Department of Economics and Rural Development at Gembloux Agricultural University (ULg - GxABT) since 1992 (Website: http://www.gembloux.ulg.ac.be/eg/). His academic career combines important research and project experience, especially in rural development. Research has been conducted in EU member states but also in developing countries (Africa and SE Asia countries mainly). Since the beginning of the 1990ies, Prof.Lebailly takes part in various studies and evaluations in relation with rural development project and food security. 

Ph. Lebailly also supervised research groups (Benin, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Niger, DR Congo, Vietnam, Cambodia and Lao PDR) and PhD studies in relation with methodological tools for rural development and in relation with chain value analysis and sub-sector studies.
