Malay Pramanik is an assistant professor and chair of urban innovation and sustainability at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He holds an MPhil and PhD in Integrated Climate Solutions from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Malay has received prestigious awards and fellowships such as the Charlie Boyden Award (ECSA57, 2018), the Best Presentation Award (Elsevier, 2018), the Early Career Scientist Award (EGU, 2019), and the Welcome Trust Fellowship (2019). He has previously worked as a fellow in the UKRI-GCRF-funded Living Deltas Hub and as an assistant professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. His research focuses on urban sustainability and climate solutions.
