Suthinee Rakkusol is the SUMERNET Young Professionals (SYP) Country coordinator for Thailand. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and was awarded a government scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in Environmental Economics and Climate Change.
She currently serves as an environmentalist at the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand. Her specialization and interests include climate change economics and policy, remote sensing (RS), geographic information systems (GIS), and artificial neural network (ANN) modeling for disaster prediction.
In addition to her career, she contributes to the Global Youth Biodiversity Network Thailand (GYBN) as part of the knowledge management team, organizing and facilitating activities that focus on biodiversity and climate change across Thailand.
