Invitation to session: Learning from green growth initiatives in Asia

Join CDKN and the Asia Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS) Partnership for an Open Space Session on innovative initiatives that enable green growth. At this market-place style session, participants will interact with representatives from a number of Asian countries who will showcase experiences and best practices in designing and implementing green growth policies and programs.

Welcome and Introduction to the Asia LEDS Partnership (ALP)

Green Growth Marketplace

There will be five country displays, each highlighting green growth policies and initiatives, lessons learned, and a unique “featured initiative”. Participants will divide into five groups and will rotate among the five displays over the course of the session. At each display, a country representative will present on the featured initiative of their display followed by a Q&A session.

  • India, represented by The Energy Research Institute (TERI);
  • Nepal, represented by the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre and the National Planning Commission;
  • Philippines, represented by the Philippines Climate Change Commission;
  • Thailand, represented by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization;
  • Vietnam, represented by the Department of Science, Education, Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Planning and Investment.
