Dr. Wijarn at the SUMERNET 10th Anniversary conference in Bangkok, January 2016 . Dr. Wijarn Simachaya, the Director General of Pollution Control Department (PCD), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), Thailand, a long-time friend and supporter of SUMERNET and SEI, has been appointed today as the Permanent Secretary of the MONRE. We would like to congratulate and wish him all success in his new position.
