Organized by SUMERNET youth network, the webinar aims to:

  • Establish a network of early career researcher among SUMERNET and beyond.
  • Create a platform for sharing experiences related to research methodology.
  • Identify new opportunities and key challenges in research methodology.

The webinar will feature presentations on the following topics.

  • Mobile research methodologies – lessons from ‘walk along’ with waste pickers
  • Facebook ads as a tool for survey data collection
  • Web based geospatial tools in water research
  • Data visualization: understanding gender inequality

SUMERNET youth network

The youth network comprises young people who are part of SUMERNET in different ways including  the fellowship program, project grants, network and the Secretariat.

SUMERNET youth network works under SUMERNET to engage with young and early career researchers. The network is envisaged as an interactive platform for advancing research and understanding of environmental challenges in the Mekong Region. The youth network organizing various networking events, seminars, panels, trainings and workshops to exchange knowledge and learnings.

The youth network believes in a collaborative and open engagement approach. If you are an early career researcher, research assistant, university student, etc. please get in touch with us to participate in our events and contribute to future activities.
