Thinn Nay Chi Sun

Thinn Nay Chi Sun is a SUMERNET PLUS Fellow from Myanmar. She supports Component 4 & 5: Leveraging network and long-term partnerships & Robust programme management and MEL processes of the SUMERNET PLUS Programme.

Before joining SUMERNET, Thinn worked at UNOPS for the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership project, where she contributed to policy analysis, results-based monitoring frameworks, and coordination across multi-country energy transition initiatives. She also brings experience from the private sector as an investment analyst, where she conducted in-depth market research and stakeholder engagement to inform data-driven investment decisions.

Earlier in her career, Thinn worked in Myanmar coordinating development projects and partnerships, as well as supporting communications and event management with WWF-Myanmar. Across her roles, she has developed strong expertise in research, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge management.

Thinn is holding a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (Honors) from the University of Yangon.

She is also a former Media Grantee of SUMERNET 4 All Media-Research Partnerships Fund.
